Retreat led by Blue Cliff Monastics

2 - 5 May 2024

Nourishing Our Mind of Love

*********

Dear friends,

May your practice of mindful living bring fruits of joy and harmony every day.

"From time to time to remind ourselves to relax and be peaceful, we may wish to set aside some time for a retreat, a day of mindfulness when we can walk slowly, smile and drink tea with friends. Enjoy being together as if we are the happiest people on Earth." -- Thich Nhat Hanh

It has been several years since our last retreat with Blue Cliff monastics because of the Covid pandemic.

We hope that with your participation and support we will co-create joy and healing for everyone at this difficult time in the world.

Nourishing Our Mind of Love

We sincerely hope that as many people as possible can benefit from this opportunity. To ensure this we have kept the cost as low as possible and chosen a location close to Toronto. Space is limited and specifically there is no dormitory.

Camping is available. Otherwise we suggest you consider commuting from your home or finding rental accommodation close to the site. The centre offers free parking however it is not accessible by public transportation.

We would encourage everyone to attend as many of the sessions as possible. Space is very limited and there will almost certainly be people who wish to attend who cannot because of space constraints. That said, you can register even if you cannot attend all the sessions. There will be no reduction in the registration fee.

All meals are included and will be vegetarian. It will not be possible to accommodate dietary restrictions. Please bring your own cushion and mat as well as any props (such as blankets and eye cushions) for deep relaxation.
